If you make it down SB way, another fab spot is the boutique spot Canary Hotel (new sister property to Shutters on the Beach, in Santa Monica). They sent their fab chef on up to Santa Barbara, too!
Chef Fermin Arias (one of my favorite chef friends that I stay in touch with) is winning crowds at the in-house restaurant Coast Restaurant and Bar. Go by, enjoy the great food, atmosphere, and say "hi" to the chef!
